Hi Maren, I'm ok with the changes. Just 2 issues.
First and most important. I take the first item in the list as calling for a few beginners to review it. But when I follow the link, the task appears to be calling for one person to locate some beginners and sort of coach them or guide them through reviewing it.
So either the task itself needs to be changed. Or the first item in this article needs to change. Do you see what I mean?
Second is just a style issue. Where you added the links to the list of vacant "positions", as I was starting to read let's say the 3rd item, I felt tempted to click the link of the 2nd item. So I was thinking if we could put the link for each item at the end of the last sentence in that item, it would be more clear.
However, the now empty line space disappears, and I think it would look better with a line space before the next item. I tried editing the source and putting
between the and the
but it doesn't take. When I switch back to the wysiwyg, there's no space. And switch back to the source, the
is not there.
So do you know any way to force a line space between items in the list? If you know, I would suggest moving the links to the end of the period (well, maybe a couple spaces after the period) and making a line space before the next item. But if it can't be done easily, just forget it. It's not worth spending a lot of time to research. :-)
All best, brynn

Brynn, I've just updated the article draft. Can you have a short look?
Kind Regards, Maren

I'll have a look again later today, first I'll need to get the README on gitlab ready, then I'll make the edits to include a link.
I found a previous version of the news article yesterday and liked it a lot :) Thank you, Brynn, for working on this so quickly and phrasing it so nicely!
Kind Regards, Maren

I thought I posted that I had a first draft, but now I can't find it. So this is it: https://inkscape.org/en/news/unpublished/812/
Let me know if any changes are needed, or if it can be published as is. Or for those who have access, please feel free to make changes and/or publish it yourself :-)
All best, brynn
