Hi Brynn,
When you upload an item, there' a drop down to say if you made the thing or if you have permission. If you have permission then there's an extra box for the name of the real author.
That's when we show the author instead of the uploader's name.

How does it happen that the....well sort of a byline....isn'ta link, and is not the name of the member who uploaded it. Even when I find the member in the breadcrumbs/path (jay.hale) I don't see that name as a nickname or something.
It's no big deal. I'm just curious :-) Same member has another image (flagged) and it's "by name" isa 3rd different name. I just don't see how that can be done? Must be some option that I've never used.
