Hello, I'm a french author of some books published into paper. I have make a lot of screenshot without asking permission. Furthemore Inkscape is in GPL so we don't have to ask. I'm involved into inkscape since few years, i have a docwriter status. Some illustration for explain tools like the good one for the pen tool which explain the angle fonctionnality... are made by some people. This for example was made by Bulia. I ask him if i can put this illustration into the book he says ok. And i send him the real book after. The logo, is a trademark. If you want use it you have to receive the agreement of ted gould and other people who have put it into trademark. The real question is : depend of the licence of your manual.
