If you want to work on the website, someone here can tell you the best place to start. I don't think we have a webpage for that.

There are a few different teams you could participate in. The Vectors team does outreach and marketting type of activities, and it meets once monthly in the chatroom. (Have you found https://chat.inkscape.org/ yet?) It's a very active team lately. Here are all the other teams: https://inkscape.org/user/teams/

Or if you have some ideas about things you could contribute, you're certainly welcome to to explain about it.
