inkscape.org offline since last night (probably)
Hi there,
could someone please have a look at what's wrong with inkscape.org?
Last night, when I went to bed, it was too slow to respond, and now it's just plain offline (ping works, though).
As the only email from OSUOSL lately was about random reboots, maybe the reboot didn't go well?
Maren
Hi Maren,
Yes the machine had been rebooted. Offline for 12 hours (from now)
The machine doesn't have a sysadmin so there's no script to pull it back up when it gets rebooted ☹ I've pulled it back up manually.
I hate CentOS and that bloody httpd service that craps all over nginx's access to http ports. Pardon my language.
Best Regards, Martin Owens

Thank you, Martin. I hope they'll get their reboots fixed soon...
Is there a bug report for any needs we have for inkscape.org in the infrastructure project on gitlab (is it supposed to move to cloudscale, too?) ?
Do you think we'd need to ask vectors to try and help recruit someone?
Kind Regards, Maren

I haven't heard anything about cloudscale. There is an open ticket to move the website to a new OSUOSL server though. We've been waiting on me to do that assuming the new django 1.11 test site is living up to the dream.
Vectors might be able to pull someone in. The new server might be a good time to do that.
