The Inkscape manual (http://en.flossmanuals.net/inkscape) is very nicely done, but I see no indication of the version it covers. Also, the "Published" date (2011-10-05) was quite a while back.
Can anyone tell me the status of this document, where and how to submit contributions (eg, errata), etc?

To the best of my knowledge, the project is inactive. The last time I wanted to fix something, I couldn't even figure out how to log in to do anything. It all changed since 2008.

The "Get Involved" page (http://www.flossmanuals.org/get-involved-0) says to create a login ID on booki.flossmanuals.net, but the page it links to:
http://www.booki.cc/fm-foundation-website/_edit/booki.flossmanuals.net
seems to be defunct. Too bad...
