Website: Bad Gateway and server errors, even on login
Hi Martin,
could you have a look at the website? It's giving lots of server errors and Bad Gateway errors, upon trying to upload something (Bryce's pre4 source code), trying to view resources as well as when trying to login.
It could be connected to the outages we experienced yesterday, which were related to power failure in some data center, but I suspect that it isn't (or that it would need fixing on the server, at least).
Regards, Maren
I've reset the nginx and wsgi services, testing from here looks ok, but it might be something intermittent.

Looks like the webserver has run out of space :-( 30GB used up, 9GB on logs, 13GB on media files.
It'll need some cleaning.
Martin,
The site seems offline, at this moment. I get an "Unable to Connect" page from Firefox, but no error codes. Earlier today I was getting server errors when trying to view images in the gallery. I didn't report here, because the error message says that a report is generated. So I assumed Martin was knowing about it already.
Maybe should start exploring self-hosting or other hosting alternatives, sooner than later? Or asking osuosl for more space overall, rather than just enough more for a forum? Because even if things can be cleaned up, to get more space for now, eventually we'll reach the full boat.
(Perhaps it's my americanized consumerism, but even for free hosting, this is darn poor service which the project has been receiving lately. In my opinion, it's outrageous. I would have bailed long ago. My opinion.)
I probably can't help much, but let me know if anything I can do to help with today's issues :-)
All best, brynn

I did. I took the website down so I could do a post-mortem.
* Server restart after power * Database [postgresql on localhost] didn't quite come back all the way. * Logs fills filled with error messages * Disk full pretty quick.
What I'm surprised by was how memcached kept the site sort of going with all these issues.

These services are really quite expensive. This is because our website gets a LOT of hits.
I understand the feeling that we ort to bail for something else, but to be honest we'd either be chaffing under less control or way more cost.
Not that we should dismiss it because of costs of course. But it'd be a few thousand dollars a month and we should consider that carefully.
Martin,
Thank you very much, Martin!
Bryce uploaded the new prerelease version in parallel with me... LOL... Deleted 'my' version now.

Hi to all, first of all sorry for my english.
The call is for inform we update the '.po' files to update translations, specialy for the DPI switch part.
Its some long text, recently added and is important the users understand it well.
Also we add some strings on mirror symmetry and copy rotate LPE but this aren't crucial.
I think the files changed are: /src/file.cpp /src/live_effects/lpe-mirror_symmetry.cpp /src/live_effects/lpe-copy_rotate.cpp
Feel free to request more information.
Thanks so much for your work, and sorry for the inconveniences.
Cheers, Jabier.
Wonderful, thank you, Jabier!
I'm adding the translators mailing list to the recipients.
Regards, Maren
