Hi Friends, I'm not sure if this needs to be reported as a bug or not. I noticed the new little banner about donating for next hackfest, and I wonder if it has something to do with the change in how the gallery is layed out?
Normally for me the gallery has 4 columns of images, but now it's 3. Screenshot: https://inkscapecommunity.com/jd/ss/gal1.png Vertically, the little banner is in the space where the 4th column would be. So it seems like the banner might have pushed the images over (so to speak).
I also noticed the search box got really small. Not sure if that might be related.
I'm using SeaMonkey browser, in case it matters. Let me know if you want a bug report :-)
All best, brynn
No bug report required,
We folded in the css from Mihaela Jurković which changed a lot of the sizes for things to % from px to improve the view of the website on different screen sizes.
I think it'll need tweaking though. So stay tuned for fixes (for example I fixed that search box size yesterday, but it won't go live until the next major website release)
Best Regards, Martin Owens

is the site source open?
Yes. AGPLv3 on GitLab. There's a link at the bottom of the website (and in this email 😉)
https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inkscape-web
It's currently going through a move to django 1.11 and python3, so if you want to use the django-1.11 branch for up to date code.
Although css is probably the same.

It's remarkable, the things that one, can learn and the heights, in I.T., where, the same can reach. WoW!

Sorry to hear you were having trouble with the python version. I've been trying to clean up in the django 1.11 branch.
