Hi victor, fine thank you, greetings from Portugal.
Yes if you want you can start with the European Portuguese, I get a few more translated pages added to the 'ready' pile, and you get a head start when the Brazilian website is up.
That way we both win, you can later copy the pages you have been translating to the Brazilian version, and after that I only have to make adjustments, if they are needed for adaptation from the Brazilian.
No work goes to waste.

Maren will probably explain how to start better than me, but I think you must first create an account at www.inkscape.org, tell him your credentials and then wait for him to give you the right permissions; after that you can start working. Until Maren answers with definite answers you can probably start reading the instructions here wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/WebSiteTranslation and here wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/WebSite#Website_Editor

PS: Tutorials pages translation to Portuguese updated with the new links pointing to the Brazilian tutorials (no Portuguese available)

Hi Victor welcome aboard!
My name is Duarte, I am currently the maintainer of the European Portuguese translation of the Inkscape website.
From Maren's reply I understand you wish to help translate for Brazilian Portuguese, am I right?
As Maren said the Brazilian version is not currently ready because of a bug, so until it is up, if you wish to help lets not waste manpower and enthusiasm.Whatever you help with now in the Portuguese version can later be copied to the Brazilian one, so no work is thrown away.

I am currently in the process of translating Contribute > Report Bugs, so other pages you and all other fellow Brazilians out there that want to help out can begin with are:

Some of these pages may appear under admin as having been translated already, but most just have copied text from the English originals as placeholder. Before you begin translating any of these, I would advise copying again and starting from fresh the English version again, since these were copied quite some time ago, before the website update, the contents are almost certainly out of date, and they may not yet have the new CMS links and structure we now use.
To do so, make sure you are in the Portuguese website from the language menu, before editing anything, then with the website in Draft Mode (button on the top right), switch to 'Structure' mode (right next to the Draft button) and hover the small menu with the grey lines to the right of the white content lines (bellow the top black bar) and choose the 'Delete' option for every white line.
After removing all contents, hover the menu to the right of the top black bar above, and choose 'Copy from English' option. After that just switch back to 'Content' mode and start translating.

Let me know if you need any other help, best regards,
Duarte

Victor, you should now be able to edit pages on the staging website. I
suggest you use pt for your testing :)
