No specific preference, except for the one-click-to-the-target reason. But I think I also haven't realised the download function of the buttons in the hero picture. Looking at the german translation I saw the explanation ...(dunkle Schaltfläche direkt unterhalb des Bildes). Ahaaaaa!
On the homepage, the four "buttons" in the hero picture don't have a click behaviour, but only a hover effect. So there is a website UI inconsistency bug/feature. If you feel the same we could discuss it as a new bug-report or similar and leave the link as it is. BTW, croatian is done with the link as you specified. Sorry for taking your time on this.
