Maybe an automated statistics page could be useful to promote competition between the different languages like in other projects (kde or wesnoth for example).
I have cobbled one quickly together.

If people think it makes sense I can automate it and generate as often as needed.
If it is a lot of work could you add the top list function to list from more translated to less translated? This is for improving competition. And add a link in the Inkscape website. Of course it should be generated automatically, lets say one time per day or per week...
