Yeah, please ensure you're actually replying to the list. Your e-mail

Thanks for this introduction and cool links (below) — but the videos do
not work for me, I always get ‘Sorry, there was a problem loading this
video. Please try refreshing the page.’ and I can only see the static
pictures.

According to the statistics (may be outdated as the most recent date is
July 1st):

almost 50% of the Inkscape program's strings need a translation or an
update, and some tutorials lack a Brazilian Portuguese translation (it's
even worse for European Portuguese).
Thus Maren it might be at least as important as the website? I think
it's not too late to submit translations for Inkscape 0.92; jazzynico
merged some new translations by me ten days ago.

For the interface, you should download the strings from the 0.92 branch
intead of trunk:
http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~inkscape.dev/inkscape/0.92.x/ files/head:/po/
Even though they are currently strictly the same. But… it seems some
translations were only merged in trunk.

Hi Sylvain,
I'm Designer, graduated in 2015, live in São Paulo but born in Piauí.
I'm using open source applications frequently since 2013, when I bought
a notebook which since the end of 2015 is running Linux; first Ubuntu,
after Fedora and now Manjaro Gnome. Many of my school works were made
part or entirely with open source, not only Inkscape but Libreoffice,
Krita, Blender and Gimp too. There are links to some works I did below.
In the school the crew besides being using pirates Adobe packages they
mocked me because I was using Inkscape instead Illustrator. XD I believe
in the applications I use, and as a translator I'll be helping
to make easier to brazilian people know them. Also Inkscape has some
lacks some features which make it less used for average brazilian
Designers than Illustrator and Corel Draw, then I subscribed me to the
testers team too. :)
