Hi, Sorry for being a bit long to respond. I'm feeling very bad because of the hot climate. I'm envisaging moving house to Groenland.

So, as Mr. Hachmann adivsed me, i'm sending this e-mail to introduce myself. I'm looking forward to contribute (obviously) to the translation part, and this in two languages : French, and perhaps Arabic.
*Mrs. Hachmann
I'm an 18 years old from Oran, Algeria. I'm starting engineering studies this year. I started touching graphic design back in 2009 trying every single tool of GIMP, manipulating images, then it was the graphic creation; i also learned some coding and had some experience in front-end development, but that's not the point. In resume, 3 years ago, and exactly the day i discovered and understood what Inkscape is, changed my life, my approach to design including my abilities. Naturally, it's like a duty to contribute to such a project, even with the smallest thing i could do, and i hope that i will :)
Congratulations for having chosen the vector graphics world, and to be keen to contribute to free software! Yes, it's a duty — :).
Have a good day/night eveyone, i would be pleased to have some responses and advices if you can, please.
*advice — it's an uncountable word, like ‘software’.
Well, I'm two years older than you, living in the city of wine in France. I'm mainly a programmer; I've been attracted by the numeric/digital world (informatics and mathematics) and their ability to provide exact and frozen things since early childhood. I've been interested in Inkscape as I'd like to express things in an exact, frozen and quite beautiful way, and an SVG editor seems to be a good solution for that.

As you may have seen, we have a very well translated (and quite complete) French version of the website, but no Arabic whatsoever (not even available to select from the menu).
Actually, I think that the translations are more complete than their quality is high. My translations are quite literal, but still efficient and sufficient. Like most of us here probably, I'm just an amateur translator! So, I'm sorry for you arriving late — :) —, I was very active translating the website to French since I joined the Inkscape project in… February, I think, and it's now fully translated; I even translated all the news from 2011. I also reviewed some existing translations (as there were many many spelling mistakes): the tutorials, the man page; I didn't fully reviewed the keyboard shortcuts and reference and the main software's translation so they probably still contain some mistakes. If you want to work on French translations, you may look forward to improve the language in the tutorials, on the website, etc. (the way the tutos are written in French is not really genius and catchy; I may try to improve them for Inkscape 0.93, when we'll have clean French tutos, free of mistakes, with Inkscape 0.92, as I can't bear the ones included in 0.91) but you'll probably have much more fun working for Arabic. You may also work on the docs (in English first), see the last two rows here: https://inkscape.org/fr/contribuer/choses-a-faire/ I started to translate the manual from Elisa on FlossManuals (as apparently nobody having the required skills could help) and there's still much to do. Actually, reading Elisa's manual, I have many remarks about rigour and thus it needs discussion and time.
Sylvain is currently the main contributor to the French website translations, so he will be the person who will be able to tell you where your help is most needed. He'll also be able to tell you about the status of the French translation of the Inkscape program itself. There are one or two other French translators on the team, but they haven't been very active lately.
About the Inkscape program, I translated the new strings without testing (or testing rarely). If you find any translation that could be improved (or which clearly needs to be improved), of course, do improve.

Otherwise, for the arabic, it's right that maybe if there was an arabic support for the opensource software, it may help to attract some users.
That would be cool.
So, i tried using the browser inspector to make some changes and see what happens. I noticed that RTL support is not 100% necessary (some little css style fixes have to be done, but they seem to be easy), You can see that in the screen capture below.
I don't see any screen capture… Note that the list cannot accept heavy mails, meaning heavier than 200 kB or something like that. What do you call ‘RTL support’ — which work does it symbolize?
I read that i should do a bug report or something to propose the arabic. Can you please advice me ?
*advise! Well, would it really be the first RTL language? I thought that the Asiatic ones went also from right to left. Actually, they're often vertical…
I hope you'll enjoy contributing to the Inkscape project! Sorry for writing exclusively in English, but non-English texts are not really appreciated on the list.
