What do you see as the major bottlenecks in the translation process currently? Maybe we can do something to address that.
When I say bottlenecks I'm not talking about delays in the process or any of that. What I mean is that, at least in my case, there are many terms that are so very specific that a normal/intermediate design application user like me doesn't have a clue on how to translate them. What I usually do in those cases is try and find the term in another application in english (CorelDraw, Freehand, or so) and then find the term is the spanish version of that program. As you can imagine this is quite a time consuming task, and also not very reliable. Also, since the extensions (and/or effects, I don't know the difference) have become translatable, a new world of obstacles has opened up. I'm having quite some trouble finding a good translation for some of those strings, particularly for the fretboard creator. I took me several days to even find out whata fretboard is.
I hope that these kind of issues will be solved quicker when consulting with fellow translators, who may have a better clue than me.
Ahh, okay I understand. Yes you're right, that'll be a very handy purpose for this list. :-)
