The second preview release of Inkscape 0.45 is now released. The changes between pre1 and pre2 are mostly translations plus a few bugfixes. Hopefully we will not need any further pre-releases before the final release.

Note that I've just posted the source package; hopefully soon packagers will begin uploading packages for specific platforms.
This release is intended for beta testers. There will be no further functional change between this and the 0.45 final release. Expected changes after this include translations, bug fixes, and packaging cleanup.
Please give it a try, and if you spot issues please make sure they are listed in our bug tracker.
