Hello Inkscape translators !
I just want to say hello to you.
I had translated the inkscape basic-tutorial and some of the inkscape FAQ on the homepage from english to german (my native language). I agree with Matiphas about translation priorities and the difficulties to translate some "special words".
I had experienced difficulties with keyboard-shortcuts because some keys on "european keyboards" were on other keys as third-funktion or were missing completly. For example the scaling and rotating with the german keyboard were not possible. That means the software had to be changed first to solve that issue. I think it is a bit unusual to translate the tutorials straight forward and then to write in brackets (sorry this funktion is not possible in our language because the keys on your keyboard are wrong).
Other than that, i am very willing to translate more of inkscape, because it is such a good project and that is the only possibility for me to contribute (i am no developer).
