thank you for introducing yourself to the team!

You've already done some great work on the po file for the website,
which should by now also be visible to all Chinese-speaking users.

For the start page, please review the Wiki instructions at
https://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/WebSite

Note that the menu entries also need to be entered manually by a website
administrator, if you need to edit them (like the download pages contents).

Many times in the past, the website was pretty buggy when editing,
especially publishing the start page might not always work. What helped
me in those cases was to edit it a couple times until finally, it could
be published.

If you encounter a problem / a bug with the website editing where any
contents is lost / modified that you did not want to modify, please
quickly notify this mailing list and / or the translators' chat channel.

Never hesitate to ask for help!

Aside from all those warnings (oh, how I wish those were not necessary...):
Welcome to the team, Ted! Have fun translating the website to simplified
