Thank you for valuable information.
As for the translation of the Website and the Software, I will try to translate .po (Website and the Software) files 100% into Inkscape 1.0.
With the website can be much worse :) because I have not yet started researching knowledge. Thank you for the links. I'll check them.
I've used Poedit so far. But I do not know how to integrate it with an Internet translator into simple names. And I would prefer to decide which translation will use me. And from what website (translate.google.com, wiktionary.org, Linguee.com, bab.la) I get a hint.
I do not have any previous words of translation / dictionaries (with synymims for graphic artists) so I would have to create them. I assume that the poedit has the option of adding your own dictionaries.
I was browsing * .po files to inkscape. I regret that there is almost no "msgctxt" in the .po files
Inkscape Website => 0/1254 Inkscape Software => 613/8146
I use windows on a daily basis, specific software only works under windows, I also have linux on another computer. And I would like to put there a local instance of the Inkscape website to test it. Alternatively, make a sandbox on a server in the network.
I like to expand my knowledge.

Hi,
Just a couple of links that can be useful.
OmegaT (CAT tool with TM, integration to online dictionaries, can be used directly to translate wikis):
Virtaal (CAT tool with TM, integration to online dictionaries, inbuilt checks for consistency):
https://sourceforge.net/projects/translate/files/Virtaal/0.7.1/
Both have Windows versions.
GIMP translation (for TM):
https://l10n.gnome.org/languages/pl/gnome-gimp/ui/
Krita translation (for TM):
https://websvn.kde.org/trunk/l10n-kf5/pl/messages/extragear-graphics/krita.p...
Karbon translation (for TM):
https://websvn.kde.org/trunk/l10n-kf5/pl/messages/calligra/karbon.po
Hope this helps.
Best regards, Yuri

Welcome Artur, it's great to have you aboard!
You had asked about both translation for the website, and for the software itself; hopefully Maren's guidance will take care of the former, and she's probably also a good resource for the latter. Through 2018 (and maybe some of 2019) we will be focusing on completing Inkscape 1.0, and it would be wonderful to have the Polish translation of the software complete, so please do ask questions if you need help working on that.
- Ah, sorry, seems I forgot to answer that part!
For a good overview of the translation status for different languages for the next major version (and the website po files), see here:
https://inkscape.org/en/doc/devel/translations-statistics-master.html
And for the stable branch, here's the same info: https://inkscape.org/en/doc/devel/translations-statistics-092.html
These links and links to more concrete info are available from the Inkscape website: https://inkscape.org/en/contribute/translations/
(I found that I learnt a lot about the project by translating the website, btw.)
Maren
Have you been on our IRC channel? If so what irc nick do you go by? Also, you mentioned Linux for your server, do you run Inkscape on Linux or another platform?

Hi all, I am a Artur.
I would like to translate the Inkscape software interface and Inkscape

page to Polish .
Who am I?
I am an engineer working every day in a company producing heavy
vehicles. I
have10 years of experience in design (in software: SolidWorks,DraftSight,AutoCAD).
As a freelancer, I do: 3D modeling (Blender,3Ds Max), Creating textures (Gimp,Substance Designer,Substance Painter ), Create game assets(Unity3d, CryEngine)
Create
script for Unity3d, CryEngine (Java, C++, C#).
I like to do: hand drawing (pencil, eraser, fine line pen), digital painting (Krita,
Corel
Painter), create vector drawings (Inkscape).
I spent the last 3 or 4 years for my family and did not do much with additional jobs. Children have grown a bit so I can go back to what I like. I do not have too much time yet but I hope that she will be able to do a full translation of the website and software in a year or two.
I still do not understand the mechanisms of this website :) and translations. My first translation does not work exactly as I would
like.
But with questions, I will wait until I read the entire Wiki page for translators.
If anyone has questions for me, ask me a lot.
Regards, Artur Wróblewski
