Dear Abdelhak,
thank you for the introduction and welcome to the list!
As you may have seen, we have a very well translated (and quite complete)
French version of the website, but no Arabic whatsoever (not even
available to select from the menu).
Sylvain is currently the main contributor to the French website
translations, so he will be the person who will be able to tell you where
your help is most needed. He'll also be able to tell you about the status
of the French translation of the Inkscape program itself. There are one or
two other French translators on the team, but they haven't been very
active lately.
As for Arabic, this would be a first, and probably a bit of an experiment.
The website layout is currently very static, and I do not know how well it
will handle Arabic (or if it will be able to deal with RTL at all, I don't
think it will change the menu order without any intervention, for example)
- if you have some time to help there, and some patience so we can figure
out together what will be needed, in co-operation with the website
development team, then this would be well worth the effort, I think. There
are so many people in the world who speak Arabic, but so few open source
websites that offer info for them in an accessible way.
Regards,
Maren
