Hi.
I have been working on the it.po translation file.
I think that I have done quite a bit of work on it. But I imagine that there is a lot more work to be done on it (I am not sure as the file is very big).

I will continue working on it. But I was thinking that if there is a deadline for the next release of Inkscape, then I should make a merge request before the deadline for the release.

I am attaching the file as it is now to this email.
But, as I continue to work on it, I will have a more "updated" version every day. I don't think there is a need for continuous updates, as long as the most updated version is available for the compilation of the next release (having to deal with many merge requests makes more work for everyone...).

Anyway, you can let me know what you think.

By the way, I don't have Marco's email address, and I don't think that I can access it (or I don't know how to do it).
I was waiting to see if he contacts me (assuming that he sees the messages sent to the translator's list), but I can't contact him directly.

Have a good day.

Hello Giambattista,

Thank you for your interest, of course you can work on the Italian translation!
Lately I'm quite busy so I have less time to work on the Italian translation, so some help is useful.

Also Marco has been working on the Italian translations recently, maybe you can get in touch with him and coordinate the process.
I can support both of you with translation reviewing.

Btw do you know how to use git?

Hi.
I have some spare time and could work on the it.po translation if no one else is working on it.
Please let me know if it is OK.
