Hi Maren,
What is ‘C.A.P.E. IT’ in the article?
- It's the name of an enterprise. No changes required for translating the name, if that's what you're asking.
And is Leena Simon a chick or a guy (I’m not sure; for a French person, it would mostly sound as a feminine name, but you know, we sometimes have surprises, like with Brynn)? Actually, Fred could also be a woman’s first name, but I assume that Anna and Sabine are women and Henrik is a man. I need to know because of French grammar rules which take the gender in account.
- Lena (and Leena) is a female first name. You got the others correct, too! Here are some photos (near the bottom of the page): https://award.osb-alliance.de/
Also, could you explain to me what leaded the jury to choose Inkscape as one of the three award winners, in a few sentences?
- Sorry, I can't, they didn't say. We applied for it, and they chose us and the other two from the 13 projects that applied. I assume they liked our application and the program.
(To my mind, this should have been explained in the article.) With concrete references. Why this year? What did we accomplished spécifically that made us to be selected this time?
Regards, Maren
