Hi,
inkscape.pot is now on SVN, and it can be downloaded from web interface too. I will update the wiki page so no more checkout is needed!

Don't know why people gets confused...
Can you tell me how to fill a RFE, or Ralf's mail? Is he on the list?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
why isn't inkscape.pot on the trunk?
There used to be a POT file, but was removed not so long ago. As Ralf wrote to me: "it is no longer necessary to commit inkscape.pot, in fact, it confuses people, and the file will be created automatically by packagers now." So please ask Ralf if you still want that file.

Hackers (and creative people in general) should never be bored or have to drudge at stupid repetitive work, because when this happens it means they aren't doing what only they can do — solve new problems.
