The lowest icon on the snapping toolbar on the right side has this tooltip:
#: ../src/ui/toolbar/snap-toolbar.cpp:190 msgid "Snap guides"
How should I read it ?
Snap guides [to something] or Snap [objects to] guides
It's confusing because right above is 'Snap to the page border' and 'Snap to grids'. Perhaps it should be then 'Snap to guides' ?

Hi Cristi,
it's meant to work in both directions - guides to other active snap targets, and other active snap targets to guides.
For consistency in the labels, one could consider adjusting the text.
