Hi, yesterday Inkscape entered feature freeze for 0.46. At this time most strings are already in place. I'd ask you to translate your .po and check if there are string/translation missing in the interface.
I've updated all .po (and my inkscape.pot as well) to latest SVN, so just doing svn up will bring you your actual language.po.
Please note that some strings may still change, as we aren't yet in the string freeze. I'll warn you once we'll reach that phase.
Thanks for your contributions. Cheers, Luca
N.B. https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/169103 is still open, and I've lost any clues about did. Can somebody investigate (and maybe fix) it?

I am currently working on this bug and preparing a fix.

Too bad. there is a number of places where plural forms are not used, whereas they should be.
We are not yet in the string freeze though if I am right. Hence some changes should be all right. I can volunteer to make the necessary code changes as required.

Off top of my head:
- number of selected objects in Export as Bitmap dialog (bottom) - "%s selected out of %d gradient handles on %d selected object(s)" - "Area filled, path with <b>%d</b> nodes created and unioned with selection." - "Area filled, path with <b>%d</b> nodes created."
Also, a number of messages need context split
Off top of my head again:
- Normal (feBlend mode vs. window behaviour in Preferences) - Dimensions (newly committed extension vs. Filter Effects option)

This was already done before.
- "Area filled, path with <b>%d</b> nodes created and unioned with selection."

fixed

added context
Alexandre, could you trouble your head a bit more about the things we might improve further.
Patch attached - could someone please commit (tested to build on my machine).

If you are so desperately looking for work... :) ...then look for "!!!" in the de.po. I have marked up bad strings there, sometimes the translations, but most often where the sources should be fixed (IIRC a fix is not always possible though or at least very hard). I just never got around working on that.
Cheers Colin

I have had a brief look at it and the list indeed seems long. I will try to see if any items are evident enough so I can track what might be wrong and how to correct it.

It really depends what the problem is. I would think in most cases a fix should be possible.

My head is troublesome from the very beginning (when dinosaurs ruled the world :)), so I'll try making up a list of the rest issues, if I find some.
Thanks for your patch. If it's not applied yet, I'll test it and give it a go.
