Hi everybody!
I'm Stéphane Del Toro, I'm French but I actually live in Spain.
I've finished my French Philology a few years ago, and then I decided to do a Master in Editorial Translation.
Best regards,
Stéphane Del Toro
Welcome aboard Stéphane, glad you decided to join us. Looking forward to seeing your contributions.

Hi Stéphane,
welcome! Having a pro translator on the team is exciting :)
Which language(s?) would you like to translate to? I'm assuming French, but it could be Spanish, too.
Are you interested in helping translate the Inkscape program, the website or the manual (or all of them?).
I've already sent you the link to the website translation documentation in the message on the Inkscape website, but without actually knowing if that's what you want to do - still, you now have permission to edit the texts on the Inkscape website. Please be careful, there's no reliable undo option, and you can edit any of the pages, in any language.
If you ever think a change should be done on the English version, and it's more than fixing a typo, please join the Editors team, and post a message to the inkscape-docs mailing list.
In case of a problem with the website, or with any other part of Inkscape translations, don't hesitate to ask on this mailing list, or to drop any of the experienced translators a message. We will be there to help as soon as possible. This is especially true if, due to a bug or an accident, the website functionality is impacted.
Do you have any questions before you get started?
Kind Regards, Maren

I’m the current French translator.

Only the manuals (Tav’s and Elisa’s) are missing translation, but other translations could possibly be improved. -- Sylvain

- We can have more than one :)
E.g. I believe it has been very beneficial that Eduard was there to share and review German program translations with me.

- The website po files have a some untranslated strings, and maybe the trunk po files do, too. Elisa's book needs translation to English. There's still plenty to do :)
Kind Regards, Maren

True. But no more.
Is ‘Watch’ the correct option to get emails about commits? (I forgot to subscribe since the migration to GitLab.) The settings say nothing about commits… -- Sylvain
Ah, I already wondered where you've been, Sylvain :)
Sent this to the list in early March:
"If you would like to be notified (by email) of changes to the translation files, please let me know, so I can add your email to the list."
Another option (instead of me entering each person who is interested individually in the gitlab interface) would be to send all commit messages to this mailing list, or to open up another list just for commits to the website's i18n repo (I'd probably use framalistes for this).
Let me know which option you'd prefer, Sylvain - and everyone interested.

Yeah, my Inkscape mail is quite… pending. I’m busy elsewhere — :/.

Ow… So we cannot subscribe autonomously.

I’d like to be added to the list please — :). First option for now. -- Sylvain

- Hope things are going well for you :) Being busy isn't necessarily bad.

- Yes, that's not really convenient. The RSS feed would be another option (which I forgot about, sorry).
