So, generally, people start translating from the English version, not any other language version, because that is complete, and all other translations are both incomplete, as well as possibly incorrect.

For Bosnian, I'd rather take Croatian for comparison, which is much closer to Bosnian. If you need German translations for comparison, too - most translation programs support showing translations in other languages for orientation. You should *not* start from a different language's file, but make your own, if your language does not exist yet.
