You can use daily CI:

https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inkscape/-/jobs/artifacts/1.0.x/download? job=translations

Then

0. Register and sign in on gitlab 1. Translate your file from the archive above. 2. Go to this page:

https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inkscape/-/blob/1.0.x/po/<your_locale>.po

3. Click on the "Replace" button. 4. Upload your translated file. 5. Enter your commit message below (something like "Update <your_locale>"). 6. Click on the "Create merge request" button.

I think the best would be if one of the devs updated the pot file for us, then we can do

msgmerge -U your_lang.po inkscape.pot

I'll ask someone to do this in the chat, thanks for letting me know that it's so old...

Inkscape comes with a script that can be used to make a new pot file, though, it's this one:
