with the help of Martin and Duarte we were able to find out the cause for the auto-logout while editing the website.

Turns out it's linked to using the social logins via g+/fb/twitter/yahoo.

Until the problem will be solved (which will presumably be when the next version of the website will be live), please use the normal login via username/password for your translation work, so you won't run the risk of loosing your work.
