Hi fellow translators,
A week ago I sent a mail to this list with a zipped .po file attached, and then I received this:
Your mail to 'Inkscape-translator' with the subject Re: [Inkscape-translator] Croatian translation Is being held until the list moderator can review it for approval. The reason it is being held: Message body is too big: 148236 bytes with a limit of 40 KB Either the message will get posted to the list, or you will receive notification of the moderator's decision. If you would like to cancel this posting, please visit the following URL: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/confirm/inkscape-translator/e8139bdffe03...
Since there is still no response from the moderator, I was wondering if anyone can explain how to submit this .po file. Thanks :)

You could attach it to a new bug report, ask somebody to commit it and post link here. But still not sure if this is the right thing to do.
Mattias
It's enough to file a new bug report here:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape
It won't get lost.

Thanks guys. I have sent the .po file to Alexandre :)
Oh, and one more question, is it possible to use launchpad for inkscape translation? It's much easier than editing a .po, all changes are automatically updated and others can quickly review your changes.

You could use it, but you have to download the po file and send it to upstream too (when finished), otherwise nobody but ubuntu users benefit from it. There is no automagical committing to upstream.

That is true only for projects which are a part of Ubuntu distribution. You can tell that easily from its URL in Lauchpad, where the URL contains Ubuntu distribution which the application is a part of. On the other hand applications like Inkscape can use Launchapd independently. Inkscape chose to use Lauchpad for bugtracking only. If it chose to use it for translations, too, Inkscape developers would commit translations regularly just like they do with patches from bugtracker.

Usually translators send them via bugtracker. But you can send it to me directly this time.
