Please, all use the search option to look out for the word 'screen' that may be translated wrongly in your language, as it appears to have two different meanings: 1. The computer screen (duh) and 2. Some mask-like overlay function.
I am struggling with the (Dutch) translation of the latter. Could someone explain this function, possibly provide some synonimes?
Thanks in advance Stephan

Hi Stephan,
apparently, an alternative term would be 'negative multiplication' according to https://www.hilfdirselbst.ch/diverse_seiten/photoshop/psd-uebersetzung.php - that's also what is used in German (Negativ multiplizieren).
https://de.education-wiki.com/5061343-top-5-photoshop-blend-modes-you-need-t...
tells me that it 'brightens' the object, depending upon the object(s) below.
You can also try to see how others translated it, either in weblate, or by searching for it in their .po files.
And lastly, you can test it out by putting different colored objects below an object with the filter/blend mode.
