Translations for 0.92.2
Hi all,
those of you following the discussions on inkscape-devel might already know we're now in string freeze for the 0.92.2 release. That means you can start translating safely, strings should not change anymore until the release. Inkscape 0.92.2 final freeze is scheduled for Aug 4th, that means you should have submitted your translation updates before that date.
There are a few new strings since 0.92.1, notably the file update dialog asking how to handle the DPI change was updated.
As always, obtain the latest files in our repo (now switched to git): https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inkscape/tree/0.92.x/po
* I just updated the inkscape.pot file in the repo which you should base your work on. Direct link to most recent version: https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inkscape/raw/0.92.x/po/inkscape.pot
* For those of you who prefer to work with an updated .po file I uploaded those as a 7z archive at https://gitlab.com/Ede123/bintray/raw/HEAD/po/po_0.92.x_84f9b04.7z
Regarding .po vs. .pot: I'm always unsure whether to update the .po files in the source repository or if all of you can work with the .pot file? I prefer not to update the individual .po files because of the typically extreme size of the diff (which is often hard to handle by git tools and unnecessarily blows up our repository size). However I obviously don't want to limit your translation efforts, so please let me know if any of you depend on .po files directly (so maybe I can consider to update the repo completely next time or continue my ".po upload service")!
Best Regards and Happy Translating, Eduard

The .pot file is OK for me. I’ve just added info about it on the wiki: http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/Translation_information#Update_a_tra...

Hi,
For me, the pot is enough to translate.
BTW, is it possible to send the updates as gitlab MRs?

Thanks in advance for your answer.
Best regards, Yuri

Sure, I'd even say it's the preferred way (in my opinion it's much easier than to handle attachments in mails or Launchpad bugs - but those are still possible of course).
If you're finished with the translation (personally I always find errors right after committing ;-) ) and don't want somebody else to look over it I can merge it.
