It looks like the problem originates in the node just before and just after the affected node. if I nudge either of them by 0.2 px, the rounded corner stays in place after transforming the path to an outline. Apparently, it goes wrong because the node before and after are on the exact same locating. This provides no solution and no explanation, but it does provide you with a work-around if you can live with introducing a microscopic misalignment. (Maybe nudging the node with an even smaller amount works as well?)
