[Inkscape-user] User editable line markers...

Seems to me it would be quite easy to make user editable line markers. You can already do it easily with the XML editor, but a more friendly user interface would be good.

Is there a way of doing this already that I'm overlooking, other than the XML editor?

Is it an upcoming feature?

If the answer to the two above is 'no' I'll probably write an Effect to do it, basically just move an object into / out of the defs section for the user's convenience.
