[Inkscape-user] Sugg:put options in main window

hi-ho I have an interface suggestion/request: put the options such as fill and stroke, font, font-size, etc in the main window, perhaps along the bottom edge, or in a control pane

I use inkscape frequently to create diagrams for my studies, particularily in biology. I feel I could do this much more quickly and efficiently if I didn't have to switch back and forth between dialog boxes.
