[Inkscape-user] Printing and fonts on MacOS X

Hello, I'm using Inkscape 0.43 on MacOS 10.4.5, and I encountered a couple of problems when preparing a very simple drawing to be printed (it only contained two labels):

1. first of all, I don't understand if/how can I print a drawing; Inkscape does not seem to access system printers (like other X11 apps, e.g. Gimp.app, do instead), and printing with its default options does not seem to have any result;

2. then, I also noticed that not all my available fonts show up in the text properties dialog, e.g. I downloaded today a free font called "Aardvark Cafe", it shows up correctly in Gimp.app, but it's not shown in the Inkscape font list.

Any clues? Thanks a lot.
