[Inkscape-user] Circles separating from gradient

I don't think my last message got posted b/c I wasn't signed up to the group yet so here it is again.

In this file, why doesn't the gradient I put on the circle stay with the circle? If I move the circle, it moves, but the gradient stays pegged to the center of the page.
