Use Agave (http://home.gna.org/colorscheme/) to select your desired colors, export the favorites in a palette file (.gpl) and copy it in /~.inkscape/palettes/
- Also I need to grab colours from bitmap files which I import temporarily
as background in order to build the shapes on top. How can I use the eye dropping tool to grab the colour on the bitmap? I do not seem to be able to do it (if there's a problem between the keyboard and the chair be merciful) At the moment I just keep my image editor open and take a mental note of the RGB hex value.... it's good for the neurones but is there another way?
I saw a few times the color picker failing to get a color from a bitmap, is such cases I do a selection with it instead of a single click.
