2. Effects -> Render -> Function Plotter doesn't render anything, but

takes a few second on doing something. No error or warning returned.

create a rect and select it, then use the effect. The problem is the missig explanation. To get that out i looked into the python code of this extension.

3. I may be using some wrong inkscape version, but the sculpture thing

(alt drag nodes) doesn't work :(

The problem when you use Linux (Xorg) is that [Alt] + dragging with mouse move the window. You could use Windows to solve the problem - maybe the Inkscape developers want that you use Windows instead of Linux.

ok, maybe a bad joke, here a work around for linux users: - select all nodes (or at least more that one to see the effect) - press down the (left) mouse over a node - start pressing [ALT] - move the still pressed mouse
