Inkscape is a wonderful software. Using it to develop vector graphics is a breeze.
I have prepared one inkscape SVG file which is of A3 size for the purpose of a wall poster. I wanted to get it printed. So, I was exporting it to PNG format with 600 dpi. (Please let me know of any other approach to print SVG file with good resolution)
Inkscape took a lot of time for exporting it. In the process, I was getting some warning messages in the shell in which I ran inscape. The error messages were like
** (inkscape:20742): WARNING **: 249003000 bytes requested for pixel buffer, I won't try to allocate that.
The SVG file has a large rectangle as background spanning almost the entire A3 size with some linear gradient. I suspected that the above warning is because of this large rectangle which turned out to be true when I saw the resulting PNG file. The large rectangle was having only the border and no gradient inside it.
Kindly somebody suggest an approach to be followed exporting this SVG file.
Thanks in advance.
