PS is a really old format. Don't use it if you want transparency, or don't use transparency if you want PS.
Scribus is far from import my SVGs in the same way than drawed in Inkscape (at least if I use flowed text).
Use "Convert to text" on flowed text before saving for Scribus or any other SVG renderer/importer.
So, does anybody have an idea? The only thing which comes in mind is to render as PNG with a reasonable resolution and print that -- but that's a lot of work if the size should be the same as in the SVG file.
Not really, in fact I think it's the best method. I think we even have a "print as bitmap" option for printing, try it.
