If you wanna see how your graphic looks like in a browser or anywhere else, then save it in plain SVG (but make backup of course) and then reload it into Inkscape. Then you'll see what's missing.
No. This is a misconception. Please do not spread it.
Inkscape does NOT add anything to SVG that would change how the document is rendered (with a single exception, which hopefully will be fixed soon). Anything that Inkscape adds to SVG when writing the Inkscape SVG format only affects how objects behave when edited, not how they look. That's the whole point of Inkscape. Therefore, when you save as plain SVG, you just get a smaller file and lose some of its editability in Inkscape, but it will be rendered exactly the same as Inkscape SVG by all compliant renderers.
