Hello,
The file was in cymk-format. Changing it in File > Document Color Mode
RGB color did the trick! Thnx!!
But now I've got another question: is there a difference what format is store the file in? Postscript level 2 or postscript level 3?
Kind regards,
Maurits Billiet

I've made some figures in Adobe Illustrator to be included in my final thesis written in Latex. But when I save the files in eps-format the different color shades get lost and are replaced by 4 colors: the plain cymk.
Are you using gradients or the alpha channel? AIUI EPS doesn't support those (at least, not at level 2).
One (horrible) workaround is to save the image as a PNG, then embed *that* in an EPS file (EPS supports embedded bitmaps).
