Hi, in my case, Mac os X Mavericks, the batch export saves the images on my home directory: /Users/username/
. In linux should be something as /home/username . If the batch export takes some time, you can run the following command to check what file streams are open by inkscape (at least in linux or mac):
$ lsof -p PID
where PID is the process id of inkscape (easily obtained from $ ps aux | grep ink )
Hope this helps.
