I know that double-clicking on a regular linear or radial
gradient is supposed to add a stop, but it doesn't work for me. I always have to use the gradient control bar to add new stops. So I wouldn't be surprised if that's how the mesh is supposed to work, but doesn't.
Linear gradient stops can be added by double clicking on the line connecting the two end stops. Adding a stop to a radial gradient works the same way.
- Earlier on, this also worked when using the node tool (or any other tool that had 'gradient editing' activated), which I found very convenient. Since 0.91, one can only move stops, but not add them with any other tool on the canvas than the gradient tool, which is slowing down my workflow (never even needed to switch to gradient tool before 0.91).
Not sure if that's the same thing Brynn means, maybe not? Double-click with gradient tool works in my preview installation.
