I was wondering since tutorials are severely lacking in Inkscape. Which program(s) (Illustrator, Coreldraw, ....) is Inkscape the most comparable to in terms of functionality. Because I seen where people have taken for instance Photoshop tutorials and replicated them in the Gimp. Which program's tutorials could best be done in Inkscape?
I'd say Corel Draw or Xara. I've a friend who used Corel Draw and Xara in the past and whenever I show him some new feature in Inkscape he tells me Corel has had a similar one for a long time. Also, the location of icons and pallettes is similar to Corel Draw.
