I have used Inkscape on Suse 9.1 and was able to install it using "Autopackage"-version: http://navi.cx/~mike/inkscape/inkscape-0.40cvs.package Check this info if you haven't heard autopackage before: http://autopackage.org/docs/howto-install/index.html

Hi I have tier to install inkscape to suse 9.1 a number of times and failed. Each time I get a message telling me to install gtk+. I have installed all the gtk packegs I can find in yast but am still unable to install inkscape. Can anyone offer advice? I have installed it to windows and think it is pretty good, but find it odd that such programs are easier to install on windows than on linux Thanx in advance Aaron --
