hey
I got a bamboo one just to get me started and quite honestly don't use it when it comes to vector drawing. the mouse is a much better tool for the kind of neurotic precision i crave.
apart from that it's much better than a mouse either for pixel work or even for essential day-to-day computer use. It takes some getting used to though. double click was frustrating for the first week.
