[Inkscape-user] pixel measurement

Hi all,

Just a quick question. Previously when I worked in Illustrator or CorelDraw, I set the measurement to pixels, since most of the stuff I was doing was for the web. I noticed in Inkscape that the global preferences set some things with pixels, but you can't set the overall measurements to pixels. Is there a reason for this?

I've been getting around it by designing in point measurements and then changing the DPI when I export to bitmap to get to the pixel size I want. At least the proportions work ok when I do this.

Any thoughts?
