hi steve,
command line potrace would be interesting. one problem i have is that i set inkscape tracing a big image with multiple scans and my pc grinds to a halt until it's done. if i could do it on the command line i could set it so it only uses a small proportion of the system resources so i can do other stuff in the mean time.
even better i could set up a little render farm. i could have a second pc on the network set up so my main pc passes it the images and gets back the completed svg when they are done. leaving my pc free from doing all the grunt work.
i'm going to have to get the command line potrace and have a play with it.
john michaelson.

hi there. I would like to convert a batch of bitmaps into vector graphics using a set potrace command. Any help in identifying the switches would be really appreciated. I am using inkscape v.41
thanks steve
