[Inkscape-user] Inkscape static 686 rpm install on two FC3 installations

Hi,

I downloaded the static 686-specific rpm from sourceforge and installed it on my FC3 which doesn't have any devel libs etc. installed - I chose "personal desktop" setting when I installed FC3. The installed inkscape is working perfectly well on this one.

However, I installed the same static 686-specific rpm on another FC3 installation with a few more things (MySQL, PostGreSQL, Apache, etc) installed and there I can't get it to run. It emits an error that some-lib.so is needed. Why don't I get the same error on the other FC3 installation? What has a static rpm to do with an .so lib?

Please help.
